Do You Suffer From A Mediocre Mind-Set?

By admin ·

I’ve been involved with the Orange County Chapter of the Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle (GKIC) for more than four years now. During that time I’ve often heard people say:

I’ve heard comments like these more often than you might think.  At our GKIC chapter meetings, I meet a lot of business owners and entrepreneurs. I’ve found that people typically  will fall into one of two categories: those who believe that investing in oneself is one of the smartest things you can do, and then there’s everybody else.

In the latter group, there seems to be the sense that if their business is earning a profit and they are paying their bills then all is right with the world. There is no need for them to spend additional time or money on information that could help them prosper in business to a greater extent that they have ever imagined possible.

Then there are those that are really struggling financially. Whatever they are doing is not working well for them. They continually look for someone to hand them the “magic key” that will start them on the path to success. But, they don’t feel they can afford to invest in books, seminars, training, etc. — even if it has helped numerous other entrepreneurs. Although one of the popular myths is that “external factors” determine how you live, the truth of the matter is that, for the most part,  you are in control of the quality of your life.

If you find yourself thinking that you have no control, why not shift your perspective away from this mentality to a more empowering position? You will discover that you attract a lot more business and wealth by aggressively investing time and money on yourself. Think about it, are you subconsciously sabotaging your own success?   Or, are you continually seeking out ways to invest in learning, to think bigger, and to be around other successful entrepreneurs?

If you are not constantly making investments in yourself, you’re not going to reach the level of success that you are entitled to.  Today’s world is changing quickly and it’s necessary to continually gain new knowledge to keep pace with the change. Consumers today are bombarded with thousands of advertisements every day. If you continue to try to compete in your market today the way you have in the past, you will be at a distinct disadvantage.

So, If you currently suffer from a mediocre mind-set, challenge yourself at this very moment to break away from this dangerous way of thinking.  An easy way to get started is to test drive the GKIC Gold Membership by requesting two issues of Dan Kennedy’s monthly marketing newsletter. For only $19.95 you will receive hundreds of dollars of valuable information that will help you to learn, grow, and become more successful than you ever imagined! Then check the newsletter to see if there is a local chapter of GKIC near you where you can meet with and get to know other successful entrepreneurs in your local area.
